Flash sites are built using Adobe's Flash program. This allows for more flexibility in the font and layout of the site and also allows animation of elements to create different moods. Audio and video are also flash elements that can be tied together to truly engage the viewer.

CMS (content managed sites) are sites build that enable the site's owner to access the content of their website through a browser based interface. Similar to editing Word files editing your webpages is easy and done online without the need for additional software. You could edit your site from a webcafe in Europe just as easily as from your office.
